Lauren Strawn Counseling LLC
Always Neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ Affirming
Maybe you’ve been to therapy before, but you felt like they just didn’t “get” you. Maybe you even got a misdiagnosis out of it, or felt awkward when they didn’t understand your relationships, pronouns, or identity.
As a neurodivergent person you might shift between not having a good sense of what you’re feeling emotionally, or in your body, or you’re constantly policing what is normal and what isn’t.
You’re not alone— I’ve been there too!
You’re not a broken neurotypical person, you’re a badass neurodivergent person, and you need to do things a little differently.
With over 15 years of work in mindfulness, somatic techniques, and trauma informed care, I can collaborate with you to build a toolkit to get out of burnout or overwhelm, and stop the cycles before they start.
I work overwhelmingly with LGBTQ+ millennials, specifically women, trans and non-binary folks, who are at the intersection of several challenging identities. These folks may want to work on attachment stuff, unmasking, perfectionism, or just learning how to integrate a new diagnosis into their daily lives.
Why just scrape by when you can flourish?
You deserve to feel at ease, even in a culture that doesn’t feel meant for a sensitive nervous system.
Message me and we can get started on your path to feeling more empowered and in control of your life.
